Where should a gas sensor be mounted?
Propane, butane and narcotic gases are heavier than air. They accumulate on the bottom of the car.
Thus a gas sensor should be mounted half way between floor and bed in a vertical surface.
What kind of gas will be detected?
Our gas sensors detect propane, butane and all narcotic gases. The G.A.S.-pro, depending on its equipment level, also carbon monoxide.

Extension of the sensor cable?
The extension of the sensor cable is possible up to a maximum of 7m. Please use cable of the same (3x0,14) or larger cross section.
